Mermaid Parade 2013
Each year, the New York Island Coney Island passes the so-called "Parade of mermaids." This year the festival celebrates thirty years. This year, the island suffered considerably from the storm, but the organizers did not give up.
With service Kick raised about $ 100,000 for the organization and the event it did happen. All parade participants dress up as mermaids and other sea creatures, then stroll through the streets of Brooklyn. "Mermaid Parade" is kind of a tribute to and a continuation of the festival held here from Mardi Gras 1903 to 1954-th year. We are offering the most vivid pictures taken during this fun-filled event.
