Typically, speaking on hotels, we envision a small, cozy cottage or high multi-level building with many rooms. Panama Hotel «Canopy Tower» National Park Soberania destroys all the usual stereotypes.
1. Cozy and welcoming building served as a boarding house earlier radar tower. It was built by Americans for control over important strategic asset - the Panama Canal. But times have changed and there is no need for total control. Therefore, the tower was abandoned and fell into disrepair.
3. Today the old building, surrounded by thick vegetation of the rainforest, reconstructed and has become a favorite vacation spot couples and people who seek full communion with nature.
5. The spacious and bright rooms, a large library, cozy hammocks - all this has a pleasant pastime and a good rest from the city.
6. But the main "trick" is still at large observation deck with a 360 degrees.
7. The hotel is very appreciated and loved and ornithologists around the world. Because here they can fully from close range, to study rare nesting birds of the area.
